An Affair of the Heart is looking for a few good makers to feature in our new Makers’ Market at the July 14-16, 2017 show!
As an expansion of the popular Win to Vend contest, we are reserving space in the center aisle to feature up to eight artists and craftsmen in 10×10 booth spaces to showcase their handmade items and products. While An Affair of the Heart has always allowed makers and boutiques/small retailers in our shows, this is an opportunity to feature talented artists and craftsmen who are trying to make their artistic debut.
Applicants for the Makers’ Market must meet the following requirements:
- Be an artist, craftsmen or maker who makes all items in their booth by hand
- Have never applied or been accepted to An Affair of the Heart show in the past
- Be available to stock and staff their booth July 14-16 at the River Spirit Expo at Expo Square in Tulsa
To encourage new makers to apply, the booth fee for the first-time Makers’ Market will be reduced to $100. This is a one-time special price and special booth location only available to vendors who meet the qualifications and are accepted into the Makers’ Market. It is not guaranteed at any future shows and the owners and organizers reserve the right to refuse entry, or extend acceptance, into the Makers’ Market for any reason as they see fit to accomplish the purpose, reason and intent of the Makers’ Market. The application deadline is June 9. Makers will be selected and notified the week of June 12.
