Four Questions with Brianna Kelley

How long have you been making paper goods and how did you get started?
I’ve been making paper goods and other lifestyle products for two years now. I started in the industry after designing the paper goods for a friend’s wedding. I have a background degree in graphic design, which certainly helps!

What is your best-selling item and how long does it take you to make?
My best-selling item is a completely personalized family tree. Between making sure the family tree is perfect for my customer and creating the heirloom piece, it takes a little over one week.

What would you like people to know about your art?
Everything I create is handmade and local, and also an expression of my quirky ideas (which I often have while sleeping).

What has been one of your most favorite custom pieces and why?
I really enjoy creating family trees because I know that they will become a family heirloom. There’s really nothing more flattering than knowing something you created will be passed to another generation, and perhaps even the generation after that.

What do you look forward to most about doing shows?
I look forward to meeting people and sharing my ideas/artwork.
